about me

You can call me a generalist—my experience spans the full spectrum of design, from engaging users in research to strategy, concept development, and executing details alongside engineers.

I began my career in community development, when I learned to empower diverse groups in influencing changes within their neighborhoods—skills I still use in my design practice today. In my 10+ years of diverse design experience, I have worn many hats in startup, nonprofit, and corporate environments.

I thrive on highly collaborative teams and enjoy navigating complex problems alongside experts. I'm a skilled facilitator of workshops and love to think creatively about how to best engage diverse groups of people in research and design. My peers have given me positive feedback about my ability to build trust with cross-functional stakeholders and connect clear and actionable research results to design decisions.

when i'm not working

You can usually find me outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I’m a fly fishing angler, sewist, hiker, gardener, and forager of seafood and fungi. My love language is cooking elaborate dinners for family and friends in my cozy Seattle home.
